High-energy magnetic materials
VNIINM possesses equipment and technology required for the production of fast-quenched magnetic powders of the Nd-Fe-b system. VNIINM developed the first pilot plant in the Russian Federation for producing strip-casting plate alloys.
VNIINM possesses technologies for producing sintered magnets based on strip-casting alloys, isotropic pressed rubber ferrites based on fast-quenched powders, and anisotropic casted rubber ferrites obtained using HDDR technology.
Record-breaking characteristics of high-energy magnetic materials produced by VNIINM allow to build effective electric motors, generators, power drives, couplings, sensors, filters, magnetic bearings, magnetic separators, etc.
VNIINM developed nanocrystalline high-gradient magnetic systems in the form of a device which uses permanent magnets, and has the following record-breaking characteristics:
the magnetic field generated by the system is almost an order of magnitude higher than the magnetic fields of the strongest permanent magnets;
the magnetic field generated by the system is extremely high-gradient, and the gradB gradient is several orders of magnitude higher than the gradient in known magnetic systems;
the magnetic system provides the value of the force product BgradB of up to 1,011 mt/m, which is six to seven orders of magnitude higher than that generated by known magnetic systems.
