SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH DEPARTMENT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR SPECIAL NON-NUCLEAR MATERIALS AND ISOTOPE PRODUCTS
Brief information about the product range:
- vacuum-tight beryllium foils with a thickness of 20 microns featuring brushed and polished surface;
- beryllium x-ray windows of various shapes with a diameter of up to 100 mm on flanges made of various materials (stainless steel, vacuum-fused copper, etc.);
- x-ray lenses made of refractive beryllium with curvature radius of 100 to 2,000 microns;
- filter elements, including those with a metal-composite membrane allowing for ultra-fine filtration and have the holding capacity of less than 50 microns;
- devices made of nanoporous beryllium intended to eliminate the speckle from synchrotron radiation beam images (speckle suppressors);
- distilled metallic scandium with the purity of 99.99 to 99.999%;
- products impregnated with hydrogen isotopes (deuterium and tritium).
Brief information about the services provided:
- development of new structural and functional materials based on beryllium;
- development of new materials and devices for controlling x-ray and synchrotron radiation;
- development of installations for tritium handling;
- development and manufacture of tritium-rich targets and other components for devices that use tritium;
- decontamination of materials and components of installations contaminated with tritium (detritization);
- development of installations and production sites for the production of tantalum powders of the condenser class;
- development of innovative methods for separating light element isotopes using physical and chemical methods.
