The Metrology Research Department of VNIINM, JSC, which in accordance with the Order of The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM dated 16.11.2015 No. 1/1092-P “On the metrological services of The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM” serves as the Main Scientific Metrology Center (MSMC) of The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, and performs research and methodological coordination of interlaboratory comparison tests (ICT) in the field of atomic power use.

Functional area of the Metrology Service of VNIINM, JSC in conducting ICTs:
nuclear materials,
fuel compositions,
oils (vacuum, turbine, transformer),
steels,
alloys,
construction materials and products made from them,
natural, chemically treated,
waste and circuit water.
Regular participation in the ICT is a prerequisite for recognizing a laboratory's activities as one meeting the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025.
Confidentiality of the results of the analysis of laboratories participating in the ICT is guaranteed.
